Since the outset of the Internet, domain name registration has been a monopoly held by Network Solutions (NSOL).  In early 1999, the United States Department of Commerce opened the market to other registrars.

A non-profit organization called Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) got the support and backing from the U.S. Department of Commerce to oversee the creation of fair competition in the registration of domain names. 

Parava received accreditation from ICANN to compete in the domain name registration business, thus becoming registrars. 

PRIMARY PROJECTS

In addition to Naame.com,  Parava Networks’ primary website  in English, Parava has launched RegistrateYa.com, the first domain registration web site aimed at Latin America, the fastest growing Internet market, and the first in Spanish.  Through our RegistrateYa.com web page, Parava became  the first ICANN approved registrar to offer this service directly to Latin America (LATAM) in Spanish.

As accredited registrars, our main mission is to offer full top level domain registration services (.com, .net, .org).  These services include a simple domain name registration process, free parking of our clients’ domain names in our servers and above all, we plan on distinguishing ourselves from our competitors by offering immediate customer care.  Every e-mail received by our customer support department is answered in a short period of less than five hours, if not, immediately.
